Submit an application
Consideration of applications and requests, as well as the personal reception of citizens, is an integral part of the activity of the prosecutor’s office and is guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine.
The Prosecutor's Office aims for unconditional compliance with a human-centered approach during the consideration of applications, which is defined as one of the strategic priorities of its activity.
In accordance with Article 131-1 of the Constitution of Ukraine, individuals may address the prosecution authorities:
1. participants in criminal proceedings or persons whose rights and legitimate interests are restricted during a pre-trial investigation, regarding the conduct of pre-trial investigations in criminal proceedings by pre-trial investigation bodies, procedural guidance in specific criminal proceedings; and supervision over covert and other investigative and search actions of law enforcement agencies;
2. on issues of international cooperation during criminal proceedings or interaction with competent institutions of foreign states and international organizations;
3. regarding the maintenance of public prosecution in court;
4. regarding the commission of a criminal offense;
5. regarding the commission of a corruption or corruption-related offense.
1. regarding the representation of state interests in the budget, credit and financial spheres, on issues of state and municipal property, land relations, natural environmental protection, and in the sphere of the military-industrial complex of the state;
2. On compensation for harm caused by criminal offences, and on issues of bankruptcy;
3. in cases involving corruption or corruption-related offenses, as well as in cases concerning the declaration of assets as unjustified and their forfeiture to state revenue;
4. regarding representation in the field of child protection.
At the same time, please note that pursuant to the Law of Ukraine “On the Prosecutor’s Office” dated October 14, 2014, and Article 131-1 of the Constitution of Ukraine, prosecution authorities have been deprived of the powers to conduct inspections by way of supervision over compliance with and application of laws, as well as the representation of citizens' interests in court.

The following must be specified in the application:
1. Surname, given name, patronymic;
2. Place of residence of the citizen;
3. The substance of the raised issue, comments, proposals, statements or complaints, requests or demands.
A written application must be signed by the applicant(s), indicating the date.
In an electronic application, the following must also be specified: an e-mail address to which the response may be sent to the applicant, or details of other means of communication with them (the use of an electronic digital signature when submitting an electronic application is not required).
An application submitted without complying with the indicated requirements will be returned to the applicant with appropriate explanations.
A written application without indicating the place of residence, unsigned by the author(s), as well as one whose authorship cannot be established, shall be recognized as anonymous and will not be subject to consideration.
